PENELOPE of Louth, Lincolnshire Posted: Jun 9, 2025It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Penelope (Penny) Dixon, of Louth, Lincolnshire, on Friday 16th May 2025, aged 75. Beloved wife of Bill, much-loved mother to Annabel and Emily, and dear sister to Paul. Penny was a warm and caring person, known for her kind heart and ability to strike up a conversation wherever she went. A familiar and friendly face in Louth, she will be fondly remembered by her family and friends both old and new. There will be a private funeral for the family. A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life on the 11 July at 11am at St. James' Church, Louth, with all who knew Penny welcome to attend. Donations, in lieu of flowers, in Penny’s memory will be gratefully received and divided between the following charities: Macmillan Cancer Support, National Autistic Society and Diabetes UK.
